Our firm offers comprehensive legal advice to local and foreign investors.

We specialize in advising and representing national financial entities in debt restructuring proceedings.  It has advised three local financial institutions in restructuring proceedings under Art. 35a of the Financial Institutions Act, as well as their subsequent liquidation under reorganization proceedings.  These proceedings were the first of their kind in Argentina, and set a precedent in the area of financial institution restructuring.

The tema also has a broad experience representing domestic and foreign creditors in all issues connected with insolvency matters, such as executing real estate guarantees, creditors’ committees, as well as any other relevant steps in insolvency proceedings.

In addition, our firm has advised local and foreign groups in commercial insolvency takeovers, successfully handling the acquisition of insolvency assets, which involved collective agreements with creditors, shareholders and purchasers.

As regards to international insolvency matters, our firm has represented insolvency debtors with assets abroad. Local debtors in asset preservation under US Bankruptcy code.
