The department advises on fintech authorization under the Fintech Law, including electronic payment fund institutions (digital wallets) and crowdfunding platforms, as well as virtual assets, AML/CTF compliance, embedded finance, cross-border payments, banking and securities regulation, insurtech structuring, and supervisory proceedings before the CNBV and Banxico. The team integrates regulatory, corporate and compliance strategies to structure innovative financial models with legal certainty and supervisory alignment.
The practice represents domestic and international fintech platforms, payment service providers, crypto-asset businesses, banks, insurers, multinational technology companies, high-growth startups and industry associations operating or entering the Mexican market.
