Our experts advise on software licenses, outsourcing, cloud computing, data protection & privacy, content downloading, and multimedia. We handle complex confidentiality, distribution, manufacturing, agency, editing and advertising agreements. We know the physical backbone behind the networks and can advise on infrastructure issues from the construction of cell towers to the deployment of satellite networks. With the exponential growth in fintech opportunities, working jointly with our banking and financial experts, the team has experience in the digital transformation of traditional banking as well as assisting new financial start-ups. We advise on issues including digital and electronic signatures, digitized signature (or image captured on electronic devices), use of tablets to capture signatures, etc.
Our litigation service is second to none. We provide advice on issues such as ISP liability, data protection and privacy vs. freedom of speech and freedom of information, among others. We advise on regulatory issues at the national and provincial level as well as for cross-border deals.
