The Competition and Antitrust Area includes all aspects of the current antitrust regulations.

In this sense, the advice of Barros & Errázuriz includes the litigation in contentious and non-contentious proceedings and in compensation proceedings for damages derived from violations to DL No. 211, before the Competition Tribunal (TDLC, Spanish acronym for Tribunal de Defensa de Libre Competencia), Supreme Court and other relevant courts, respectively. It also covers the advisory and defense in investigations and consultations before the National Economic Prosecutor’s Office (FNE, Spanish acronym for Fiscalía Nacional Económica) regarding cartels, unilateral conduct and procedures under the new system of mandatory notification of concentration operations. Finally, Barros & Errázuriz assists its clients in the analysis of the commercial policies carried out in their competitive development in the respective markets in which they participate, as well as in the elaboration of compliance programs, supporting strategies to prevent violations of the Law.
