We successfully acted for the executive director defendants. The liquidators of CCC appealed the Royal Court judgment to the Guernsey Court of Appeal. In a recent judgment, that Court again dismissed all claims against the directors. Babbé has again acted for the successful executive directors in Carlyle.
Act for the English High Court appointed receivers of the Libyan Investment Authority, the sovereign wealth fund of the State of Libya, involving complex matters of trust and international sanctions law. Also acts for the administrators of BSG Recourses Limited, the largest administration in Guernsey legal history.
