  • Appleby Isle of Man’s Corporate and Finance group continues to be involved in often high value, complex transactions taking place in all three of the Crown Dependencies. The Isle of Man group is double the size of our nearest competitor, allowing us to provide expertise in a number of areas including commercial property, funds, insurance, shipping and aviation, mergers & acquisitions and banking work.
  • The group now has 7 BVI qualified lawyers in our Isle of Man office, 5 of whom are Partners. We continue to work closely with our colleagues in Appleby’s BVI office to provide easy access to BVI legal advice for clients including banks, governments, lessors and lessees, joint ventures and other project developers.
  • Our group regularly takes cross-border corporate & commercial work involving Appleby offices in one of the eight jurisdictions in which we operate. Our clients appreciate our ability to provide one point of contact, which enables them to reduce their exposure and involvement to numerous offshore firms and, as such, reduce inconsistencies in the advice given and control their costs.
