Anjarwalla & Khanna’s (A&K) Dispute Resolution team handles complex cross-border matters and high value disputes, generally of a commercial nature and involving the superior courts in addition to assisting with forensic investigations. With a large and multi-office team, we advise on a wide range of contentious matters, including commercial litigation, the environment and land, employment, intellectual property, tax litigation, product liability, and public law. We also advise our clients on alternative dispute resolution methods, including arbitration and mediation. We assist our clients to create a strategy that enables settlement of matters out of court.
A&K’s Dispute Resolution team has been developing a specialised practice in the very sensitive area of corruption, specifically advising on anti-corruption and compliance, white collar crime and fraud matters which have in the past arisen by the enactment of the Bribery Act, 2016. We have handled several very complex, multi-jurisdictional corruption matters, including conducting internal investigations, advising large multinationals in connection with anti-bribery allegations, liability of the company and reporting obligations under the applicable statutes in Kenya.
A&K’s corporate investigations and compliance practice combines legal, accounting, economic, investigative and technology skill sets for an end-to-end solution for both private and public sector clients.
