The Labor and Employment Department is one of the major departments of ACCRALAW. It represents a good number of the Philippines’ top 100 corporations. Its broad clientele includes local conglomerates and multinational companies engaged in manufacturing, export, bottling, power generation, retailing, trading, banking and finance, education, hotel and restaurant management, oil, pharmaceutical, insurance, semiconductors, electronics, software development, information technology, telecommunications, travel, mass media, and offshoring and outsourcing (BPO), among others. The LED has established a reputation for expertise and efficient service in the major areas of labor law practice,  such as, review of company policies and benefits, dismissal and suspension of employees, money claims arising from employment relations, strikes and lockouts, negotiations for collective bargaining agreements, petitions for certification elections, unfair labor practices, grievance and dispute arbitration, labor-related civil and criminal cases, labor standards claims, outsourcing of services, social security, overseas employment, labor aspect of corporate acquisitions or spin-offs, assistance in the design and implementation of rightsizing programs, legal audit, conduct of seminars on employment law and practices, data privacy in relation to employment, and  labor inspections by the Department of Labor and Employment.
