Senior partner Ioana Racoti and partner Elena Iacob were part of the team of lawyers coordinating the deal on behalf of Alro on Romanian law matters.
ZRVP has advised Romanian aluminum producer Alro, part of Vimetco Group, on a seven-year USD 40 million corporate loan from the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank for its capital investment program. The loan will be used primarily for improving the company’s energy management performance as well as high value-added production capacity.
The project’s total cost amounts to around USD 95 million to be also financed by Romanian and international commercial banks.
The firm advised ALRO on all aspects of the transaction including financing structure, drafting and negotiation of transaction documents, financing arrangement, assistance with closing formalities, review of corporate approvals, and registration of securities.
ZRVP teamed up with a team of lawyers from Simmons & Simmons that counselled the borrower on English law matters.
