As we continue our celebration of Women’s History Month at White and Williams LLP, it is important to recognize the efforts of the women who help improve our company every day. Our commitment to fostering success in young women entering the professional world is exemplified by the White and Williams' Women’s Initiative, a program that works to inspire with educational seminars, networking opportunities and events for charity.
Two professionals that are integral to this initiative, Partners Sarabeth Gaver and Siobhain Minarovich, were recently appointed co-chairs, celebrating their tireless efforts to create an inclusive, supportive environment that inspires women in the field of law.
With almost 20 years of experience in financial and real estate sectors, Gaver has successfully represented lenders, institutional investors and borrowers in closing hundreds of commercial real estate loans, across the United States covering all asset types, including, multi-family, hospitality, industrial, self-storage, and mobile home parks.
Co-leading this initiative alongside Gaver will be Minarovich, a partner within the firm’s commercial litigation insurance coverage and bad faith practices. Minarovich, who has worked in law for over a decade, represents insurers in a wide range of coverage and litigation matters. She has been quoted in Newsday, contributed several articles to professional journals and was a Long Island Business News’ 2022 Leadership in Law awardee.
The firm’s Women’s Initiative is a committee dedicated to the development of educational programs, networking opportunities and charitable activities that fosters a supportive and inclusive workplace and serves the goal of retaining and promoting women at the firm.
