Rebaza, Alcázar & De las Casas has announced the promotion of two senior associates to strengthen its Antitrust and Mergers & Acquisitions practices.
The promotions, effective December 18, 2025, include Magaly Varela (Antitrust) and Rafael Lulli (Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate). These appointments reinforce the Firm’s commitment to excellence, diversity, and the development of internal talent, as well as its strategic focus on handling highly complex matters and delivering outstanding client service.
Magaly Varela is a leading specialist in competition and antitrust law, with a distinguished track record in the Peruvian market. Since joining the Firm just over two and a half years ago, she has played a pivotal role in strengthening and positioning RAD´s Antitrust practice, advising on merger control, antitrust investigations, and market regulation. Her prior experience as Legal Coordinator of the first Merger Control Division at INDECOPI has brought a strong technical and strategic approach that has consolidated the Firm as a benchmark in the most complex and sensitive competition matters in Peru.
Rafael Lulli focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate law, and cross-border financings, with extensive experience in complex transactions and multi-jurisdictional financings for local and international clients across various industries. He holds an LL.M. from New York University (NYU) and has international experience at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton in New York, bringing a global and sophisticated perspective to the Firm’s M&A practice and strengthening its strategic advisory capabilities in high-stakes transactions.

With these promotions, RAD now has 25 partners, including seven women partners.
