Vella Pugliese Buosi e Guidoni Advogados, Dentons’ strategic alliance in Brazil, is pleased to introduce the new partners Carlos Eduardo de Biasi and Vitor Luís Pereira Jorge.

Carlos Eduardo de Biasi brings more than 20 years of experience advising Brazilian clients and multinational groups on complex domestic and international tax matters of high strategic relevance. His career — which includes roles at one of the Big Four auditing firms, prominent law firms, and legal departments of multinational companies — provides him with a multidisciplinary perspective in the analysis of M&A transactions, succession planning, treaties, transfer pricing, and Pillar 2. With a strong presence in the technology and digital assets sector, he is recognized as one of the pioneers in cryptoasset taxation, advising exchanges and fintechs on innovative matters. He also actively participates in initiatives related to Brazil’s consumption and income tax reform. Due to his solid expertise, long-term partnerships with clients, and strategic connections, he will join Antonio Carlos Guidoni Filho as a partner in the Tax Advisory practice.

Vitor Luís Pereira Jorge has more than 17 years of solid national and international experience and is a specialist in Antitrust and Compliance Law. Vitor has extensive experience handling complex matters such as corporate investigations, the development and enhancement of integrity programs, representing clients in merger review cases and administrative proceedings before CADE, M&A audits, and strategic consulting. Recognized by international publications such as Legal 500, he holds a law degree from the State University of Rio de Janeiro and an LL.M. from the University of Chicago. Vitor is a member of the Compliance and Antitrust Law committees at OAB-RJ and IBRAC and is certified by the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics. Vitor is co-leader the Regulatory: Competition & Antitrust Practice in the Latin America and Caribbean region — as part of VPBG’s strategic alliance with Dentons — and his role will be essential to driving the growth and development of the practice in the Brazilian market and throughout the region.

These appointments are a direct reflection of VPBG ongoing expansion strategy, strengthened by the integration of these new partners and the recognition of its internal talent.
