Vasil Kisil & Partners developed security policies for Junior Achievement Ukraine (JA Ukraine).

JA Ukraine is a part of JA Europe and JA Worldwide: one of the world’s largest networks of international non-governmental organizations that has been preparing young people for employment and entrepreneurship for more than 100 years. The JA network consists of around 590,000 volunteers and mentors and works with over 10 million children in 100 countries of the world. Even during the war, the Ukrainian office of JA continues to organize educational activities for young people in Ukraine.

Vasil Kisil & Partners' team drafted a Safety Policy for Educational Events and a Regulation on Risk Assessment for JA Ukraine. The documents help choose a safe place for holding an event during wartime and introduce a step-by-step action plan for participants in case of various emergency situations (air raid alert, missile hit of a building, fire, chemical attack, terrorist act etc.). The developed policies combine legislative requirements, relevant recommendations of state authorities and internationally recognized practical experience on the reduction of risks in emergency situations.

Yuriy Tokarskyy, CEO of JA Ukraine: “It is especially important for us that Junior Achievement continues its activities in Ukraine and provides the Ukrainian youth with access to training of entrepreneurship skills and preparation for future employment. We stand together with the Ukrainian youth who overcome safety challenges related to Russian aggression every day. The safety policies developed by the Vasil Kisil & Partners team will help JA Ukraine organize events according to the highest standards of safety”.

Vasil Kisil & Partners’ project team included counsel Anatoliy Pashynskyi and lawyer Marko Holovach under the supervision of partner Volodymyr Igonin
