Tokenisation and the regulatory regime - how does it work?

One of the Regulatory & FinTech Partners of FG Lawyers (Anne Hakvoort) wrote an academic paper (available in Dutch only) for Tijdschrift Financieel Recht in de Praktijk on her understanding of the concept of tokenisation. She describes the applicability of the Dutch Financial Supervision Act, the Dutch AML Act and the Dutch Sanctions Act on virtual asset services providers. A jump into the murky waters of this form of asset digitization using distributed ledger technology such as blockchain.
