Tofic Simantob, Perez e Ortiz Advogados announces Mário Papaterra Limongi as a new consulting partner. The firm, founded in 2005, specializes in Criminal Law and is located in São Paulo.
Papaterra, who previously worked as a prosecutor in the State of São Paulo, was invited to join the firm after the news of his retirement.
Papaterra began his career in 1976 and has a vast experience in the public sector, having worked for eleven years in the public prosecutor's offices in the state of São Paulo, in the 1st Jury Court for nine years, and as coordinator of the Criminal Support Center while working as an advisor to the Attorney General's Office. Papaterra also served as Deputy Secretary of Public Security, Deputy Secretary of the Secretary of Government, and Counselor of the Superior Council of the Public Prosecutor's Office.
Papaterra's arrival at Tofic Simantob, Perez e Ortiz comes one year after the hiring of another former civil servent, the former public defender João Imperia.
The firm also announces that it will move to its new headquarters in May.
