Thomson Geer has acted for cybersecurity training business ALC Group in the sale of its business assets to cybersecurity provider Tesserent for A$5.8 million. Tesserent is Australia's largest listed full-service cybersecurity and cloud services provider and is establishing Tesserent Academy to improve the cyber talent ecosystem, playing an active role in developing talent and addressing the skills shortage in the sector.

Tesserent's acquisition of ALC recognises ALC's preeminent position in the APAC region. The transaction provides Tesserent Academy with immediate access to substantial resources and access to new opportunities that will allow Tesserent Academy to continue strong growth in the key Cyber Security training market.
