Thomson Geer has advised Jeta Gardens Aged Care in the sale of its aged care business to aged care community manager, Opal Healthcare. Jeta Gardens is an Aged Care business with 178 residential places, all single rooms with private ensuite (now renamed "Bethania Parklands Care Community").
Thomson Geer provided legal services to the Jeta Gardens on all aspects relating to the sale of this aged care business, including vendor due diligence, drafting and negotiation of transaction documents, and ancillary documents. This matter allowed our Malaysian client to exit its interest in the Australian aged care market.
