Thomson Geer advised gold exploration and development company, Rox Resources Limited (Rox) on its acquisition of Venus Metals' interests in the Youanmi Gold Project and all of Venus' gold interests in its other joint ventures covering other regional areas.
Venus Metals is a West Australian-based company exploring gold, lithium, rare earth, vanadium and base metals. Thomson Geer provided advice on the regulatory requirements of the acquisition, undertaking due diligence, drafting of the asset sale and purchase agreement and other ancillary documents.
This is a significant achievement for Rox as it consolidates the ownership of its Youanmi Gold Project and will result in cost synergies for Rox. It is also expected to attract greater interest from the investment community.
