Thomson Geer has advised on all Australian legal aspects of ASX listed and Australian plus size women's fashion company, City Chic Collective Limited's acquisition of UK plus size women's fashion company, Evans Group Limited.
This included advising the Board on directors' duties and continuous disclosure requirements as well as reviewing all transaction documents from an Australian perspective.
This is a significant deal for City Chic Collective – it is City Chic's first foray into the European market and it has acquired an iconic UK brand.
The transaction value was A$41m.
