Thomson Geer is advising Resolute Mining Limited on the sale of its Bibiani gold mine located in Ghana to Canada's Asante Gold for USD$90m.

The transaction is consistent with the client's strategic focus on its core operating assets and strengthening the balance sheet, with the initial cash receipt of US$30 million to be applied to the voluntary repayment of debt. The sale reinforces our client's commitment to deliver sustainable and enduring value to shareholders and to the communities in which the Company operates.
