Thomson Geer acted for US-based AI service provider, SharonAI, in their acquisition of Australian data storage company, Distributed Storage Solutions Limited for US$25,000,000. Distributed Storage Solutions is Australia's largest Filecoin storage provider, dedicated to sustainable and robust enterprise grade data storage infrastructure in the Filecoin Network developed on the IPFS protocol.
This acquisition presents an opportunity for Distributed Storage Solutions shareholders to achieve a listing on Nasdaq in due course via aggregation with SharonAI business and assets. An important liquidity event.
