The Warsaw office of Hogan Lovells advised Cinema3D S.A. on the sale of its portfolio of sites in Poland to Vue International.

The value of the transaction has not been released to the public.

Cinema 3D is a multiplex cinema network established in 2010, consisting of 11 sites with 49 screens (and a further three sites with 20 screens in development) in different retail and leisure developments all over Poland. It offers a well-equipped, modern chain with the possibility of displaying films using 3D technology. After the sale transaction, all of the sites will be re-named and branded in line with the existing Multikino chain.

Vue International is one of the leading cinema operators in the world, managing brands in ten countries: Poland, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Netherlands, Denmark, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, and Taiwan. The recent acquisition is in line with the company's successful growth strategy aimed at the development of its premium out-of-home entertainment portfolio.

Advocate Marek Grodek (partner heading the Real Estate Practice within the Hogan Lovells Warsaw office) supervised and coordinated the project. The Hogan Lovells transaction team consisted of Bartosz Clemenz (Counsel), and Paweł Gnaś (Lawyer) – both from the Real Estate Practice.
