Collection bins and crates will be set up at the SyCipLaw Center, 2/F 105 Paseo de Roxas, Makati, from June 27-29, 2022, 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. Those who wish to take part in this worthy endeavor are encouraged to bring discarded e-waste such as non-working computers, laptops, mobile and other data-containing devices, light bulbs, power tools and other gadgets or appliances that are beyond repair and are simply sitting in their homes unused, for proper disposal.

SyCipLaw Green Initiative is being conducted in line with the World Law Group's (WLG) annual CSR campaign, dubbed "WLG | impact 2022".

WLG | impact is a month-long, network-wide initiative of WLG, in which member-firms would complete an environment-themed CSR project.

Last year, SyCipLaw was among the 13 companies and the only law firm in the Philippines that received a citation from the Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP) for successfully completing the X-Trash Challenge. This initiative was organized by PBSP in partnership with Basic Environment System & Technologies, Inc. (BEST) to promote responsible waste management. Member-companies participated by gathering their recyclable trash in exchange for environmental points (EPs), which were then accumulated and used to purchase food and other grocery items for the underprivileged communities around Metro Manila.

The firm is committed to practice proper waste segregation at source and recycling. With its ongoing partnership with BEST and BEEPXTRA Philippines, Inc. (bXTRA), SyCipLaw continuously earns EPs for basic commodities for the benefit of underprivileged barangays in the metro.
