Svitlana has more than 15 years of practical experience, advising clients on various legal matters in local and cross-border transactions, as well as providing expert advice for business and industry associations in regard to the electricity market reform and construction reform and implementation of the Third Energy Package in Ukraine. She is also one of the very few lawyers in Ukraine particularly experienced with the contract forms of the International Federation of Consulting Engineers, which are increasingly being used in international construction projects in Ukraine, and is a an author of numerous publications on the topic.
Svitlana is a member of the National Commission on Environment and Energy of the International Chamber of Commerce, a member of the working group of the American Chamber of Commerce on electricity issues, and an independent mediator of the Dispute Resolution and Negotiation Centre of the Energy Community. She is a member of the supervisory board of the Bioenergy Association of Ukraine and is regularly contributing to the activities of the Ukrainian Wind Energy Association. She also served as a board member of the European-Ukrainian Energy Agency and a member of the of the Arbitration Court of the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine.
Svitlana has a PhD degree in law from the Taras Shevchenko National University, and has completed the courses of the Florence School of Regulation titled "Regulation of the Power Sector" and "Trans-European Energy Networks Regulation", enabling her to provide profound and industry-focused advice to clients.
