MIAMI (Sept. 25, 2017) — Stephen Siegel, of counsel in the Miami office of statewide law firm Broad and Cassel LLP, is now Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC) by the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA).
Individuals who obtained their CHPC have exhibited knowledge of relevant regulations and expertise in compliance processes sufficient to assist healthcare industry in understanding and addressing legal obligations, and promote organizational integrity through the operation of effective compliance programs, according to the Compliance Certification Board.
Board Certified in Health Law by The Florida Bar, Siegel has been practicing law for more than 25 years and focuses his practice in all areas of health law, ranging from regulatory issues to enforcement and general corporate matters. He is a member of the firm’s Health Law and White Collar Defense and Compliance practice groups.
Most recently, Siegel was named among “The Best Lawyers in America®” for health care law and a 2017 Florida Super Lawyer. He also was recognized among the “Leaders in their Field” for healthcare in the 2017 Chambers USA: A Guide to America’s Leading Business Lawyer.
