Albagli Zaliasnik Senior Associate, Stephanie Cruz, accepts leadership position in the IBA after being appointed an officer on its Pro Bono Committee, with tenure lasting until December 2023.
The Pro Bono committee is the central coordinating point within the IBA for all matters relating to actively encouraging professional and legal work donated for the public good, as well as creating cultures of inclusion among all sectors.
One of Stephanie’s main values is to promote the principles of diversity, and that commitment not only strengthens community ties, but also reinforces the impact of diversity on innovation and social causes.
Albagli Zaliasnik has long been committed to access to justice, providing legal aid and advancing pro bono initiatives.
The firm is a founding member of Fundación Pro Bono Chile and signatory of the Pro Bono Network of the Americas, which is powered through the Cyrus R. Vance Center for International Justice in New York, USA.
Stephanie's term as Officer will be effective from June 16, 2022 to December 31, 2023.
