Andrea Gómez holds a Bachelor's degree in Legal Sciences from the Escuela Superior de Economía y Negocios and has a Master's in Business Administration from ISEADE-FEPADE, as well as a Postgraduate degree in International Business from ISEADE-FEPADE and the Anáhuac University of Southern Mexico. Additionally, she is licensed as an Attorney and Notary by the Republic of El Salvador.
Before joining Torres Legal, Andrea held various prominent roles in the legal and financial sectors. Among her previous responsibilities, she provided legal counsel to public institutions on technology matters, and prior to that, she served as a partner at one of the country's most renowned law firms in corporate and litigation matters. She also had affiliations with significant institutions in the financial and insurance sectors.
Her experience in the field of Cryptocurrencies and Blockchain is particularly noteworthy, having been involved in the establishment of Decentralized Finance (DeFi) protocols, Tokenization projects, and advisory services on Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs), as well as in the modernization of traditional industries through digitization.
