The Grand Rapids, Michigan, office will be managed by Conor B. Dugan, who joined the firm in July as a partner practicing in the areas of White Collar Defense & Investigations and Appellate & Constitutional Law. The Grand Rapids office comprises SouthBank’s fourth location and further elevates its nationwide presence.  Conor is considered one of Michigan’s top appellate advocates and has regularly represented clients before the U.S. Supreme Court, the Michigan Supreme Court, numerous federal courts of appeal, and the Michigan Court  of Appeals.  Conor also is deeply involved in the Grand Rapids and Michigan community, having served as Past Chair of the Board of Catholic Charities West Michigan, a Trustee at Aquinas College, and a Commissioner on the Michigan Appellate Defender Commission.  Prior to joining SouthBank, Conor clerked for then-Judge Samuel A. Alito, Jr. on the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and served for seven years at the U.S. Department of Justice.
