A new web platform of SIECA aims to simplify and harmonize procedures for the sanitary registration of processed foods and beverages in Central America.

The Regional Integration System for Health Records (in Spanish, SIRRS) is a regional automated system for the recognition of medical records that will be managed by SIECA to simplify and harmonize the procedures to obtain the health records of processed foods and beverages in Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua and Costa Rica.


The recognition procedure of health records is not new what is new is the web platform that will integrate all countries of Central America making the procedure easier and quicker.

Applies for health records obtained in any country of Central America provided that the product is original from that country and not from other different from the region.

It is expected that the implementation of the system will reduce costs associated with these processes.
