Shearman & Sterling represented UBS AG Hong Kong Branch, Merrill Lynch (Asia Pacific) Limited , Barclays Bank PLC, Guotai Junan Securities (Hong Kong) Limited and Haitong International Securities Company Limited as initial purchasers in connection with Xinyuan Real Estate Co., Ltd.'s tender offer of 8.125% senior notes due 2019 and its offering of $300 million aggregate principal amount of 14.2% senior notes due 2021.
Xinyuan Real Estate Co., Ltd. is a real estate developer and property manager primarily in China and recently in other countries. The company develops and manages large scale, high quality real estate projects in more than 10 tier one and tier two cities in China, including Beijing, Shanghai, Jinan, Suzhou, Xi'an and Zhengzhou.
