LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS (March 13, 2020) – Scott H. Tucker has become a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. Scott, a partner at Friday, Eldredge & Clark, was inducted in a special ceremony held at the College’s Spring Meeting in Tucson, Arizona on Saturday, March 7.

Fellowship is extended by invitation only and membership in the College cannot exceed one percent of the total lawyer population of any state or Canadian providence. Scott joins eight Friday, Eldredge & Clark attorneys who have previously been named Fellows of the College: Michelle Ator, Donald H. Bacon, William Mell Griffin III, James M. Simpson, Frederick S. Ursery, William A. Waddell and David D. Wilson.

The College maintains and seeks to improve the standards of trial practice, professionalism, ethics, and the administration of justice through education and public statements on independence of the judiciary, trial by jury, respect for the rule of law, access to justice, and fair and just representation of all parties to legal proceedings. The College is thus able to speak with a balanced voice on important issues affecting the legal profession and the administration of justice.

Scott is head of the firm’s Railroad Practice Group. He and his section represent the largest Class One freight railroad in the country and the National Railroad Passenger Corporation (Amtrak) in all of their Arkansas personal injury litigation. He has extensive experience representing railroads in cases involving grade crossing accidents, employee injuries, and trespasser strikes.
