A team led by Schalast VC partner Dr. Marc-André Rousseau advised eCommerce startup wyrld on the execution of its first (pre-seed) financing round.

The newly secured Pre-Seed funding accelerates wyrld’s launch, enabling a network of top-tier influencers, a powerful supply chain, and the development of an immersive online shopping experience. Additionally, the company plans to expand its management team.

Within a very short time of founding the company, founders Jakob Neise and Paul Scherz were able to attract leading German business angels who, in addition to millions in financing, are actively contributing their expertise and networks, particularly in the areas of logistics, e-commerce and marketing.

wyrld’s customer journey is specifically designed for Gen Z and Gen Alpha, demographics that are increasingly disengaged from the conventional online shopping experience. At the same time, wyrld provides content creators and brands with a seamless way to market their products directly to their audience, while handling logistics and customer support. This bridges the gap between influencer marketing and commerce, solving major issues that traditional social media platforms face today.
