Sayenko Kharenko intellectual property practice defended the rights of the inventors of the hemostatic agent “Krovospas”. In 2015 a group of inventors transferred the intellectual property objects, related know-how and relevant technical documentation to TETERIV Production Association LLC (the “Company”) under the contract. The right to produce and sell the hemostatic agent “Krovospas” was also granted to the Company.
Despite further commercialisation of “Krovospas” which generated sufficient income, the Company did not fulfil its payment obligations to the inventors. This created the grounds for the inventors to sue for protection of their rights in court.
Sayenko Kharenko lawyers developed a legal strategy to protect the rights of the inventors in court and prepared all necessary statements on the merits of the dispute. They also proactively defended the clients’ rights at all stages of the proceedings in the courts of first, appeal and cassation instances.
The case was accompanied by Sayenko Kharenko IP team of partner Yaroslav Ognevyuk, lawyers Tetiana Yushchenko, Volodymyr Hrunskyi and Kateryna Bumaha.
