Santamarina y Steta advices Kimberly-Clark de México, S.A.B. de C.V. in the acquisition of 50% of 4e.

Mexico City June 29^th, 2016. Santamarina y Steta recently advised and counselled Kimberly-Clark de México, S.A.B. de C.V in a successful operation acquiring 50% of 4e.

4e is a manufacturer of personal care products, with presence in Mexico, the United States and Canada.

The transaction, for an undisclosed amount, is expected to be close in the second half of 2016, subject to necessary regulatory approvals.

As a relevant player in the liquid soap category, the addition of 4e to Kimberly-Clark de Mexico's portfolio is aligned with its strategy of entering the market with new branded consumer products to complement the Kleenex and Escudo soap business.
