Comercial Mexicana in the sale of its retail stores for the amount of approximately $2.2 billion dollars

Santamarina y Steta recently adviced and counseled Controladora Comercial Mexicana, S.A.B. de C.V. in a successful operation of approximately $2,200 million dollars by selling its retail stores (Comercial Mexicana, Mega Comercial Mexicana, Bodega Comercial Mexicana and Alprecio, among other assets Organización Soriana,
S.A.B. de C.V. and subsidiaries.
La Comer maintains ownership of the stores that will carry the name of La Comer, Fresko and City Market.The transaction allows La Comer to focus on its main line of business of selling at retail through different formats of supermarkets.
