On February 22, 2022, the sale of the "online mall" business line juntoz.com to Grupo Efe, through its company Conecta Market Place S.A.C., was closed. The transaction was structured through the sale of the assets that comprise the ongoing business, which involved a particular complexity due to the assignment of a large number of agreements (merchant parnters, logistics providers, IT providers, payment gateways, among others) and intangible assets that are essential for the operation of the digital e-commerce platform, so as to ensure the uninterrupted continuity of the operation.
By this purchase, Grupo Efe reaffirms its commitment to support the growth of the digital ecosystem and promoting e-commerce in Peru, through the juntoz.com marketplace platform developed 100% in Peru by Fernando D'Alessio, founder and CEO of Juntoz Perú S.A. and his team 6 years ago. The amount of the transaction has not been disclosed.
