Andreas Furrer is a lawyer and part-time full professor at the University of Lucerne for private law, comparative law, private international law and European law. His professional focus is on DLT, AI and Web3/Metaverses as well as transport and logistics law. We are very happy to have him on board and wish him a successful start at MLL Legal!
Andreas Furrer was for many years a partner in a major Swiss law firm, where he built up the areas of transport and logistics as well as export control and supervised various DLT projects. He will be operating from our Zurich office and work closely with other members of our practice group Regualtory/Fintech/DLT.

His professional focus is on DLT, AI and Web3/Metaverses as well as transport and logistics law. From 2020 to 2023, he acted as CLO in a blockchain startup and advises various digital startups. Through his broad academic, legal and entrepreneurial experience, he provides sound advice to companies and startups, especially in building and developing digital projects and expanding entrepreneurial business areas in Web3 and Metaverses. He also advises companies on their business operations in the United Arab Emirates, where he works with a successful network of local experts.
