Partner and Head of Pepeliaev Group’s Employment and Migration Law Practice Julia Borozdna has been elected Chair of the Labour Law Sub-committee at the Association of European Businesses (the "AEB"). She will serve for 2 years. Previously Julia held the post of deputy chair of the sub-committee.
The Board approved Julia’s candidacy even though according to the AEB’s Charter representatives of Russian companies cannot hold managing positions on the Association’s working bodies. Among the decisive factors behind the decision being made were the experience Julia has accumulated over many years and her outstanding performance in the area of Russian labour law.
For many years Julia Borozdna has been an accredited member of the AEB, taking an active part in law-making projects initiated within the framework of the AEB and aimed at protecting the business interests of companies performing their activity in Russia.
The AEB’s labour law sub-committee is a forum for expert discussions, the exchange of information and experience, and for the promotion of topical initiatives in the area of labour law and human resources.
