Messrs Steven Thiru & Sudhar Partnership is pleased to announce that with effect from 1st January 2022, Ms Dawn Wong Keng Jade is admitted as a Partner and Mr Muhammad Zarqali Mohd Noor is promoted to the position of Senior Associate.
Dawn currently practises in civil and commercial litigation, with a focus on construction-related disputes. She has acted for and advised major developers, contractors, architects, and engineers in litigation, arbitration, and adjudication proceedings and is familiar with all major standard forms of construction and consultancy contract, including PAM, PWD, CIDB, and IEM forms. Dawn is also experienced in contract administration and the drafting and negotiation of project documentation. Quite apart from construction-related matters, Dawn has also handled company and shareholder disputes, defamation claims, contentious probate disputes, restructuring and insolvency proceedings including judicial management, abuse of dominance claims in the aviation sector, and disciplinary proceedings held before the Investigation Committee of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
Zarqali has represented clients comprising large corporations, Government-linked Companies, small and medium enterprises, registered associations, and individual personalities, both as counsel and junior counsel at all tiers of the Malaysian courts. His clientele spans various industries which include, amongst others, Banking and Finance, Energy and Utilities, IT and government agencies.
