We are delighted to represent BC Partners on yet another acquisition in Greece and the first such transaction in the private education space.
In particular, we advise BC Partners in connection with the acquisition of a majority stake in Metropolitan College and IEK AKMI group, leading providers of post-secondary education in Greece.
The group operates a network of 27 educational establishments throughout Greece offering a wide variety of courses across multiple disciplines to over 22,000 students.
This transaction marks the second investment of BC Partners GR Investment LP, the BC Partners Greece-focused fund, after its acquisition of the PetCity Group, and follows a series of successful investments of BC Partners in high growth companies in Greece.
Closing is subject to receipt of merger clearance.
