Osterling Abogados announced the incorporation of Jose Delmar as partner specialising in Corporate Law - Mergers and Acquisitions, and Technology.
Delmar holds a law degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and an LL. M from Columbia University. He has a long career advising Peruvian and foreign companies in corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, investments, joint ventures, project finance, new technologies and business strategies.
Prior to joining Osterling Abogados, he was a founding partner of Delmar Ugarte (now Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría), where he assisted local and foreign companies in local or cross-border acquisitions, refinancing and general corporate matters. He also served as Legal Manager at Nextel del Perú (now Entel) and Contracts Manager at Telefónica del Perú, where he oversaw the deployment of telecommunications infrastructure, negotiated technology and financial contracts, among others. His outstanding experience also includes leading the team that drafted the rules and regulations of the Lima Stock Exchange.
