NextEnergy Capital Group. Solar portfolio acquisition

1.      Deal Description

London-based NextEnergy Capital Group (“NEC”) acquired a portfolio comprised by 5 solar projects from Grenergy Renovables S.A.

Guerrero Olivos assisted NEC in Chile. The M&A and energy teams worked in the analysis, review and due diligence of the projects, the structuring of the transaction and the drafting of the definitive agreements.

The importance and relevance of this transaction is that it contributes to the development of clean energy in Chile.

NEC is a specialist solar investment and asset manager, that has significant experience and deep expertise across the lifecycle of utility scale solar, ranging from subsidy-free greenfield development to market-leading operational performance.
