Conyers provided Bermuda law advice to New Fortress Energy Inc. (Nasdaq: NFE) (“NFE”) in connection with the sale of its assets and operations in Jamaica to Excelerate Energy, Inc. (NYSE: EE) for US$1.055 billion.
The transaction was initially announced by NFE on 27 March 2025 and completed on 14 May 2025.

NFE owns and operates natural gas and liquefied natural gas (LNG) infrastructure and an integrated fleet of ships and logistics assets to rapidly deliver turnkey energy solutions to global markets.
