Nancy Conrad, Chair of the Labor and Employment and Education Law Groups, has been elected Chair of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. The Section is concerned with all aspects of labor relations, and monitors legislative developments and judicial decisions related to labor law. 

Nancy will oversee Section programs and outreach that focuses on promoting a more thorough understanding of the legal issues in the fields of labor, employment and industrial relations within the Commonwealth. She will actively work with the Section’s five hundred members in monitoring legislative developments, judicial decisions and agency regulations that impact the workplace.

Nancy has more than 20 years of experiences representing businesses, educational institutions and non-profit organizations in all aspects of workplace disputes. She defends all types of employment actions, including the defense of federal and state discrimination claims, wrongful discharge claims, whistleblower claims, employment contract matters and restrictive covenant cases. Nancy has particular experience representing colleges, universities and schools in matters related to faculty, staff and students. Beyond litigation, Nancy counsels employers in all aspects of workplace issues.
