Musat & Asociatii advised Ecolab, a global leader in water, hygiene and infection prevention solutions and services, on the Romanian law aspects of its strategic acquisition of Purolite Corporation, involving around 30 jurisdictions over six continents. The acquisition was structured as a cash transaction and valued at approximately USD 3.7 billion.
Purolite is a global leader in high-end resin technology and services, operating in more than 30 countries and employing approximately 1,000 people worldwide, with expected 2021 sales of approximately USD 0.4 billion.
Musat & Asociatii has assisted Ecolab in all work relating to Romania, from extensive due diligence, corporate, real estate, employment, and environmental aspects, to transaction structuring, closing and post-closing.
