Goodwin Procter's New York office and Muñiz, Ramirez, Perez-Taiman & Olaya in Lima have helped US water purification and desalination company AquaVenture obtain US$150 million in credit in a sprawling multijurisdictional deal.

The deal also involved several Central American jurisdictions, including the British Virgin Islands, Curaçao, St Maarten, Trinidad and Tobago, the US Virgin Islands and Barbados.

Proceeds of the loan will fund debt payments and general corporate purposes.
