DENVER (May 25, 2023) – Moye White LLP is pleased to announce that Cara McCormick has joined the firm as a summer law clerk, taking part in the Colorado Pledge to Diversity Summer Clerkship Program.

McCormick, a first-year student at the University of Colorado Law School in Boulder, will be clerking for the firm through the summer. The Colorado Pledge to Diversity is a nonprofit that aims to expose diverse law students to the legal field, help them develop professional skills, and introduce member law firms in Colorado to talented students of ethnic, racial, religious, ability, gender, and sexual minorities.

McCormick is most interested in business and corporate law: “I chose Moye White due to the firm’s reputation of excellence in the Colorado community,” said McCormick. “I believe my summer clerkship would be most enhanced and enjoyable by working under the mentorship and guidance of the attorneys here.”

Lynne Hanson, a franchise attorney who also leads Moye White’s Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusiveness program said: “For the fifth time, we are pleased to welcome a summer clerk to Moye White from the Colorado Pledge to Diversity Summer Clerkship Program. As a firm, we are committed to the Pledge’s goal of exposing diverse law students to the work and culture of law firms and encouraging diverse law students to consider private practice as a career.”
