Mitby Pacholder Johnson PLLC, a Houston-based litigation boutique, is pleased to announce that Peter Jordan has joined the firm as a partner. Jordan was previously a partner in the Houston office of a large international law firm.

A seasoned commercial litigator, Jordan’s experience spans a broad range of industries, including technology, chemicals, insurance, manufacturing, and financial services. Jordan represents both plaintiffs and defendants in high-stakes disputes involving breach of contract, fraud, joint venture dissolutions, data theft and misappropriation of trade secrets, antitrust claims, insurance coverage disputes, environmental matters, embezzlement, non-compete agreements, class actions, and other complex commercial litigation.

Prior to returning to private practice, Jordan served as Associate General Counsel and Head of Global Litigation for Huntsman Corporation, a leading international chemical company headquartered in Texas. Jordan led the company’s litigation and compliance functions, managing a docket of several hundred cases and disputes worldwide. During his tenure, Huntsman secured nearly $800 million in settlements and judgments in multiple high-profile lawsuits. Jordan also oversaw internal investigations across the organization and played a key role in developing and implementing comprehensive corporate compliance policies and training programs.

Earlier in his career, Jordan spent more than a decade in Simpson Thacher & Bartlett’s Los Angeles office, where he represented Fortune 100, Fortune 500, and Global 500 companies in all phases of complex litigation, arbitration, and sophisticated corporate disputes. Jordan is licensed to practice law in both Texas and California. He earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles and his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
