Michał has returned to the firm after a break of several years.
He is a specialist in public contracts of significant value and a high degree of complexity, and in public procurement. Before joining Wierzbowski Eversheds Sutherland (which he was previously affiliated with in 2008–2012), he worked for seven years as a senior lawyer in a leading international law firm, advising public and private clients in the sectors of power, oil and gas, defense and security, high tech, aviation, and rail.
Michał supports clients in determining whether a given project is subject to the public procurement regime, advises on establishing the optimal structure for procedures and conditions for participation, as well as negotiation, performance, settlement, and modification of contractual obligations. Over the past eight years, he has advised or represented clients on public contracts and related disputes with a value exceeding EUR 6 billion.
He is the author of many articles on public procurement published in recognized journals and newspapers, as well as a speaker at scholarly conferences in this area. He has lectured auditor trainees at the Supreme Audit Office on the subject of public procurement. He is one of the founders of the Polish Public Procurement Law Association.
