Niederer Kraft Frey advised MediCrops AG on the acquisition of a majority stake in Hygieia Partners AG (TopPharm pharmacy) and Topmed AG (Topmed medical office).

MediCrops, which is based in Pfäffikon SZ, was founded in 2018 and is a pharmaceutical company operating in Switzerland and Germany that specialises in THC-containing prescription medicines. With the digital transformation of a patient’s treatment process and an extensive portfolio of medicinal products, MediCrops aims to improve patient care through innovative solutions.

The TopPharm pharmacy in Basel, which is known for its comprehensive services and state-of-the-art infrastructure, will play a key role in the distribution network for MediCrops.

The Topmed medical office, which is located at the same site as the TopPharm pharmacy, complements this offering by providing patients with seamless care.

The NKF team was led by Life Sciences/Healthcare partner Janine Reudt-Demont and Corporate/M&A partner Moritz Maurer, working with associate Alexander Göbel and junior associate Camille Stucker (both Corporate/M&A).
